NZ’s membership of Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance in jeopardy

The co-chair of the ambitious fossil fuel phase-out coalition the Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance says New Zealand’s membership will need to be re-evaluated if it proceeds with restarting offshore drilling.
“We are constantly evaluating members of Boga, so if that happened, I think that’s something we should look into,” Lars Aagaard, Denmark’s Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities and the co-chair of the bloc, told Newsroom after a press conference at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
